Tragically, this is not an isolated case. Studies reveal that &lt;strong&gt;clients from racial and ethnic minorities are 50% more likely to discontinue therapy prematurely&lt;/strong&gt; when they perceive their therapist as culturally insensitive, often leaving their needs unmet and mental health struggles unaddressed (APA, 2021).
